One of the sisters who is serving in the temple right now from Odense, Sis Inge Steen Hansen, invited us and the other couples to a flæsksteg dinner tonight. It is probably our favorite dinner here. When I first came 10 years ago, the crunchy rind seemed awful. Unfortunately, now it is my favorite part.
The white is groft salt or coarse salt and so good, and no doubt unhealthy.
The Danes love potatoes. Note there are regular potatoes to go with the sauce/gravy, browned potatoes in browned sugar and two kinds of potato chips.
