Church History in Copenhagen

Mette Paulsen took the three of us in our Danish Class downtown yesterday and showed us the sites of the early Danish missionary Activity.

On the second floor (lst in Denmark), the first Relief Society was organized in 1879.

This area has been preserved and actually houses some exclusive boutiques.  But it gives you a good idea of what Copenhagen looked like in the 1859's when the missionaries first came.
