Bro and Sis. Aase have come to serve in the temple for a month. They are from Sweden. Sis. Aase told me her great conversion story today. She was divorced with a 9 year old and was watching TV. There was a debate between Bro.Wennerlund, a Stake President, and a bishop from some protestant church about whether Mormons were Christian or not. She said the protestant bishop was so aggressive and rude and Bro. Wennerlund was so kind and calm she called the number on the screen at the end of the show and got the mission in Stockholm. They asked if she would like missionaries and she agreed, then worried and hoped they would forget. But they called that very afternoon. The 9 year old was worried they were coming and hid. But of course they recognized the truth and were baptized and both she and her daughter are active and the daughter has three children who are active.
The story of their marriage 10 years ago is almost as miraculous. Bro. Aase decided it was time to find a wife, (I don't know if he was widowed or what). He was at an older Singles Conference and asked some friends for help. They sent him a list of 6 or 7 names of single sisters in their ward. He took them to the temple and Elisabeth's name was the one that stood out. So he called her and came and visited and were married 6 months later here in the Copenhagen Temple
The Lord does know each of us and is watching out for us
