Project for Today

Since it is still so cold outside, today was a good day to defrost the freezer.  I just took the drawers out and put them on the deck while I worked on the freezer.

This nifty little appliance is in most Danish homes.  It's basically an electric teapot. It heats water to boiling in less than 2 minutes. It made it very easy to keep hot water in pans to melt the built-up ice.

I should have taken a before picture, but here is the after.  Such a good feeling of accomplishment.

 And here it is packed up again.  I do like the refrigerator being on the top. I can pack and stack and see what is there so much easier.
