Biking with Tina

Tina Paulsen and I have talked about going on a bike ride together and today we did it.  It was a lovely day with only a sprinkle of rain, a nice breeze and new places to see.

This monument marks the place where the Danes were able to get many Jews out of the country by boat across to Sweden.

 Sweden is just across the water.  It is up the beach out of the center of Copenhagen and probably quiet and dark in the 1940s.

 We came across this beautiful rose garden

 And stopped atop the Charlottenlund Fortification. It has been turned into a campground, but notice the big guns still in place.
