Wedding Days

We had an unusual day today ....TWO weddings.

This lovely Norwegian couple knew each other almost 30 years ago but went their separate ways.  They met again last February after each had been through a divorce.  It clicked and they came to be married and sealed.  They have 11 children between them ( two have passed away).  Only 4 are still young enough to be at home. His son, who has just returned from a mission, was the one guest and a witness.  A couple from Norway happened to be here and came in also. They took the all night ferry over this morning and left at 4 pm to go back tonight.  They were so thrilled and excited, it was really fun. She knitted her own fabulous sweater.  

The other couple had an equally interesting story.  She is American and he is from Denmark.  They met at her sister's wedding several years ago when she married a Dane.  Her parents are living in Abudabi for 5 years and came for the wedding. Their marriage license was sent to the wrong place and they had to get a duplicate at the last minute.  It was touch and go, but it all worked out, as it always does in the temple. The Nørgaards were a  sweet couple
