Wash Day

Monday and Tuesday the temple is closed so that is the day we do all of cleaning, shopping and washing. Our washer is the traditional European front load that takes an hour plus per load.  And as we live on the 4th floor of an apartment building and have no outside vent for the dryer, we have a drawer that collects the water.  It needs to be emptied about every two loads.

 As you might imagine, the clothes don't come out totally dry.  So we have a drying chair, a drying bed,

 and even a drying rack when we do the bedding.
