Her white wool coat could have come out of the movie "Frozen". It was beautiful and made by her sister for her own wedding when she got married in February several years ago.

Decorations Down
Denmark does not keep their Christmas decorations up past New Year's. One sister told me they come down before New Year's because New Year's has it's own set of decor. Which includes crazy hats. (which I forgot to take a picture of). The Christmas items are on sale for the same length of time. Yesterday when I went out, they were all packed away for next year.
Our decorations came down today, Somehow they have multiplied. I opened 1 box and ended up storing 2. Obviously I did hit a few good deals.

Sayonara to Deb.
We were sad to see Debbie go home this morning. We have had such a good time with her. What a blessing she is in our lives. The missionary couples loved her and were sorry to see their tech support leave.....
Her plane to Paris left at 6.55 a.m. Yes, we were up early. She had a direct flight from Paris to Salt Lake, only 15 hours from take -off to arrival!

High Time
Elder and Sister Brooks, archiving missionaries, invited us down to see where they work at the Frederiksberg Kommune. Their coworker, Lars, was nice enough to take us to the top of the tower of the Kommune building. What a view.
The bridge to Sweden...
Vores Frue Kirke, Parliament, and out to the Kattegat between Sweden and Denmark.
It was a cold, clear and very windy day
Can't quite see the temple, but maybe the Angel Moroni just to the right of the red crane.

Temple To Tivoli
We had a very quiet day in the temple this morning. But this afternoon we changed pace and went to Tivoli. Deb went down an hour earlier with Elder and Sister Brooks to use a free-ride pass we received with our year's pass renewal. Elder Brooks loves the rides and was happy to have a riding companion while Sis. Brooks gave her usual support from the sidelines.
It was 22 degrees with 25 MPH winds!
We came down with the Larsens but we only lasted an hour and a half before frostbite set in.....but did get some fine shopping done.

New Year's Day Adventuring
Like a good many of the residents of Copenhagen, Debbie and I decided to get out of the house and get some fresh air today. Our first stop was The Little Mermaid, with many others.
She was decorated for the season.
Next we went to Mindenlund, the cemetery for the Danish Resistence.
These graves, as well as most in Denmark, were remembered during the Holidays.
Last we went to Dyrehaven-Bakken, and walked through the deserted amusement park, with many others out for a walk. A little weird, but interesting. Such a fun day.
