Happy Father's Day in Denmark

They celebrated Father's Day here in Denmark today and it is also Grundloven Day, Constitution Day. It is the day the Constitution  Act was signed 1849, making it one of the oldest constitutions. Its adoption ended an absolute monarchy and introduced democracy. Because of this constitution, religious freedom was granted and it opened the way for some of the first missionaries outside of the US to come to Denmark.

Here is the great dad of our family, enjoying dinner on "the patio".
We took friends home from church and noticed all of the other people enjoying the day and the beautiful weather on their boats.
