Temple Flowers

Three times a year we have the flowers redone in front of the temple.  The Fall and Spring plantings are on a regular schedule, but the summer is not, for some reason.  This summer it was very sad as Allen, the engineer was on paternity leave, so our planters looked like this for a week.

 Fortunately they made up for lost growing season and this is what they look like now.  The plants were tall enough I saw a little girl playing hide and seek with her dad among them.

 Meanwhile, the back garden is managing  to survive  with all the renovating of the reflecting pool going on around it.  The lavender is lovely.
