More Santorini

Santorini was so beautiful it gets another post.

 The zig zag trail up the cliffs was for donkey rides, or you could walk or down....

The city on the top..

We took the public bus to Akrotiri to see these remains from a volcano that covered the city. It is similar to Pompei with out bodies and not as extensively excavated yet.

We took the cable car back to the beach, not the donkeys.  We had to wait 30 minutes and felt fortunate.
